Features

One loyalty program. Six features. All included.

Everything runs on your store's paid orders. Here is what each part does, and where its limits are.

Automatic points on every order

When a paid order reaches ShipFeeder, the customer's balance goes up by the order total multiplied by your earning rate. Tier perks can raise that rate for loyal customers.

If an order is refunded or cancelled, the points it earned are taken back, so balances stay fair. Every change is written to a points history you can read per customer.

Good to know: Points are tied to the customer's email address. Orders without an email cannot earn points.

Illustrative example

Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers

Every customer starts in Bronze. When lifetime points pass your Silver and Gold thresholds, they move up and earn at the bonus rate you set for that tier.

The My Points widget shows each customer how many points are left to the next tier, which is the reason to come back.

Good to know: Tiers are based on lifetime points earned. Redeeming points does not lower a tier.

Illustrative example

Referral and affiliate program

Each customer has a referral code. When a friend uses it at checkout as a discount code and the order is paid, the referrer and the new customer both receive the points you configured.

Creators and affiliates can use the same codes. Rewards are points, not cash payouts, and a customer cannot refer themselves.

Good to know: The referral applies to the friend's first order only. Your store must offer the code as a discount code for it to reach ShipFeeder.

Illustrative example

Customer "My Points" widget

Add one script tag to your theme. For a signed-in customer the widget shows their points, tier, progress to the next tier and their referral code.

Colors and wording follow your settings, and the widget loads separately from your page so it does not slow your store down.

Good to know: The widget identifies a customer by the email your theme passes to it. It shows points and tier only, never order details.

Illustrative example

Automated points emails

Customers get an email when they earn points, when they reach a new tier (with the reward you set), and a reminder when they hold unused points and have not ordered for a while.

Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and the schedule and wording are yours to edit.

Good to know: These are account notifications about points, not newsletters. Customers who unsubscribe still keep their points.

Merchant dashboard and statistics

The dashboard reads your own orders and shows points distributed and redeemed, your repurchase rate, and the revenue from customers who are enrolled in your program.

Nothing is estimated or benchmarked against other stores. If you have no orders yet, it says so.

Good to know: Figures only cover orders ShipFeeder has received through a connection, the CSV import or manual entry.

How a points balance works

A worked example

Illustrative example. Your own rates and thresholds replace these numbers.

1

Rate

You set 1 point per $1 spent.

2

Order

A $48.00 order is paid, so +48 points.

3

Tier

Lifetime points pass 500 and the customer becomes Silver, earning at the Silver rate.

4

Reward

At the redeem threshold you set, the customer can swap points for a reward code.

Use cases

Ways stores use it

  • Reward the second order

Give a new customer enough points after the first order that a second one feels close.

  • Bring back quiet customers

Customers holding unused points receive a reminder after a while without an order.

  • Give creators a code

Affiliates share a personal code. You see the orders that used it and reward them in points.
