How the connection works

A webhook in, a widget out

There is no app to install. You add one webhook in your store, and one script tag in your theme.

Shopify

  1. Create a store in ShipFeeder and copy its webhook URL and secret.
  2. In Shopify open Settings, then Notifications, then Webhooks.
  3. Create a webhook for the event "Order payment" with the ShipFeeder URL, in JSON format.
  4. Add a second webhook for "Order cancellation" or refunds if you want points taken back.

WooCommerce

  1. Create a store in ShipFeeder and copy its webhook URL and secret.
  2. In WordPress open WooCommerce, then Settings, then Advanced, then Webhooks.
  3. Add a webhook with the topic "Order updated", paste the ShipFeeder URL and the secret.
  4. Set the status to Active and save.

The My Points widget

Paste this before the closing body tag in your theme. Replace the store key with your own. In a Shopify theme the email value fills in for signed-in customers.
